New Meal Plan

Who's excited about this horrible weather being gone? This girl!! I had the holidays, travel, a different work routine, a different workout routine, and then this week of bad weather which threw everything off balance for my new running plan and meal plan. I can now safely make it to the gym, outside to run, and to the grocery store!

I recently talked to a nutritionist and I will be following a meal plan of an "off season"(not the 2-3 months before a competition) bikini competitor. I am so excited to have a more well rounded meal plan that is focused on building lean muscle. He looked at all of my activity and tailored the meals based on how much work I will be putting into my fitness. It's more of a motivation to push myself in workouts because I know I will be benefitting from the meals.

I wanted to give a list of some of my basic groceries I will be buying from week to week for an example. I really believe you can take these items and create some well rounded meals. I will be updating Instagram with some of the meals, and grocery hauls if you want to check it out!

New years always make me so excited to see what all I can accomplish! I hope you all have success in carrying out your goals for 2015!

* Disclaimer- I do not believe in taking "supplements"- I drink a protein powder shake and take a multivitamin. I don't do pre-workout or take a bunch of things to "aid" me in weight-loss because I believe hard work and diet is the most natural, and effective option.
